The Sonosite MicroMaxx portable ultrasound machine is an ideal unit for point-of-care ultrasound. It's probes are lightweight yet incredibly durable. The Sonosite MicroMaxx features many imaging modes including 2-D, M-Mode, color velocity doppler, tissue harmonics imaging, color power doppler (Angio), continuous wave doppler, pulsed-wave doppler and has phased array transducer capability including multiple transducers such as a C60e/5-2 MHz curved array transducer for abdominal imaging, HFL38/6-13 MHz High Frequency 38mm Linear Transducer, ICT/8-5MHz broadband intercavitary transducer, L25e/13-6 MHz broadband High Frequency 25mm Linear Transducer, L38e/10-5 MHz broadband linear vascular transducer, P17/5-1 MHz braodband phased array cardiac/abdominal/Transdcranial transducer and a TCD P10/8-4 MHz broadband phased array 10mm pediatric cardiac transducer. The SonoSite MicroMaxx also boasts a 10.4-inch LCD, integrated speakers, 128 channels, internal hard drive, Networking, Smart card reader, Sitelink and is lightweight at approximately 7.7 lbs.
